When I asked if they were in a forum with search disabled I was speaking of the specific forum they are in. In the ACP go to the forum tab, select the the gear next to the forum and check if indexing is enabled/disabled. For example most forums have a "trash" forum and you can disable indexing in that forum so mods are not seeing already trashed topics that have been dealt with when using "New topics" etc. The other possibility is you don't have permission to search the forum.
If the post/topic has the term "unique widget" in it does it show up in the results?Is it possible to get result for these posts at all if you use some other term?
