Hello everyone… Since January 22nd, one of my forums has been under a sustained DDoS attack, with up to 1800 bots accessing the site simultaneously.
Without prior notification, my hosting provider (OVH) has arbitrarily blocked access to my database and requested that I clean it up. I have migrated a backup to a new, fully functional database, but the bot traffic persists. This is an unprecedented situation since the forum's inception. I anticipate that OVH may block access to the database again in the near future.
I am wondering if this is a configuration issue with my forum or if it's a server protection problem on my hosting provider's end.
Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide.
