Hi, Everyone.
I thought of different ways to explain this but I think the best is simply pictorially:
From 'Who Is Online' down to the footer (not shown) it's the same lineup as regular forum. But above that it's the categories in a quadrant.
I managed to get Category 1 to do that on the forum by reducing width and float:left in common.css (around line 222). Then copying and repeating in a graphics program to get the other 3.
Of course, I need to do that in the coding. I'm thinking some type of grid? That would facilitate 'responsively' 2 sliding under 1 and 4 sliding under 3. (Note: May be easier by changing order to slide 3 and 4 on right under 1 and 2.)
Is any of this possible just with CSS alone or would it entail template coding? I'm thinking the former but not sure.
Anyway, any suggestions as to coding for this would be appreciated.
And how strange that I just noticed it's my 400th post in phpBB.
And may I add here a Merry Christmas and a Good New Year to all of you and yours.![Smile :-)]()
